AgriThority CTO to Participate in Biological Adoption Panel at World Agri-Tech San Francisco

AgriThority Chief Technology Officer Gloverson Moro, Ph.D., joins industry experts in a featured panel at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in San Francisco on Tuesday, March 19 at 1:30 p.m. PST.

The panel “Biologicals in Action: Getting Traction on Today’s Farms” will be moderated by Eli Ziskind, Partner, Aqua Capital. The session focuses on biological adoption and will cover topics from the success and commercial viability of biological crop inputs on farms and the need for transformational R&D in biologicals, to challenges for start-ups when managing intellectual property and resource allocation and adoption process for farmers. Moro will address these questions and discuss the importance of a disciplined, stage-gate development process for biological products.

Optimization of the development process from discovery through development stages and commercial launch encompasses many different variables. It’s critical for biological products to focus on planning and execution during development to manage risks and resources with the ultimate goal of expediting commercial success.

“Product development is as much about process as it is about science,” Moro says. “Having clarity on what questions need to be addressed and in what order, is critical. We look forward to sharing our experience helping more than 539 technologies across more than 3,700 field trial farm locations prepare for adoption.”
