Eurofins Agroscience Services Identified As Service Partner by Bpifrance

Eurofins Agroscience Services (EAS) has announced that it has been identified by Bpifrance as one of its service providers for its Innovation Support Program in the “biocontrol diagnostic” category. Under this category, Bpifrance provides support to SMEs relating to new biocontrol products in the form of a grant.

Bpifrance A.E., a subsidiary of the French public investment bank Bpifrance S.A, is a financial institution that supports the growth of the French economy by funding entrepreneurial micro-businesses, SMEs and mid-caps, helping them develop and grow their operations.

French SMEs, or SMEs with a local subsidiary registered in France, developing new biocontrol products can apply for financial support from Bpifrance. To qualify for the grant, an organisation must be looking to secure funding for a feasibility study for a biocontrol product, including characterisation, bibliography and data gap analysis, and must contract this work to an approved partner.

As a Bpifrance partner, EAS Group is ideally placed to fulfil the requirements of feasibility studies. Being selected as a service provider under Bpifrances’ Innovation Support Program positions EAS as a trusted partner to provide robust support to companies developing new biocontrol products. EAS supports these companies with its unique service offering, a full-service portfolio from molecular screening through to registration. Innovation is a key driver for EAS Group, dedicated to supporting innovative biocontrol companies to take their product from concept to market.

This initiative demonstrates EAS Group’s wider commitment to supporting innovative R&D start-ups in crop protection and ag-tech. In response to increasing regulatory pressure on agro-chemicals, a shift towards developing more sustainable bio-solutions is underway – EAS Group can provide a complete end-to-end service delivered via a global network of experts, across every discipline.
