In business for 54 years, Copeval deals directly with Chilean growers, providing crop protection products as well as seed and fertilizer — bagged, fluid and anhydrous ammonia. They also serve growers with soil sampling and consulting services.

“As a part of the commercial agriculture system in Chile, a key component of our business is respect for the environment,” says Miguel Frey Amengal, Copeval’s division manager. To show this commitment, Compania Agropecuaria Copeval became an ISO 9001 certified company in 2008 and are also certified OHSAS 18000, an international occupational health and safety management system specification.

The San Fernando facility has an alarm system and is secured by fencing and an emergency response plan has been developed and shared with local emergency responders, including police and fire personnel.
