South African Farmers To Receive Assistance

The South African state-owned Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) will provide farmers up to $108 million after flood and drought destroyed the recent harvest, according to Times Live.

Financial provider Land Bank will allocate the funds which are repayable over a period of 10 years. Farmers have until February 2012 to apply for assistance.
