Alias 4F Receives Supplemental Aphid Registration

Don Guy, field development and technical services manager for Makhteshim Agan of North America (MANA) warns that while 2008 would not normally be a year of great concern over major soybean aphid outbreaks, "nothing about this year has been normal, so fields should be carefully and continuously scouted."

"Should there be an outbreak, MANA has just received supplemental registration of Alias 4F insecticide, with imidacloprid for control of aphids in soybeans," said Guy. "This new labeling for Alias 4F provides a fourth choice of active ingredient from MANA that growers can use to protect their soybeans against these very destructive pests. Growers who need a short pre-harvest interval will find the 7-day soybeans PHI of Alias 4F a good fit."
