Ascenza Invests in the Mexican Market

Ascenza has started a new operation in Mexico. The company moves into this new market offering a diversified portfolio, which includes chemicals, hybrids, and biological products, reinforcing the company’s strategy on the sustainability of its portfolio. Mexico is already one of the main markets of the Rovensa group, to which Ascenza belongs, meaning the brand can benefit from these synergies.

João Martins, Ascenza’s Chief Operating Officer, says “This expansion is an important milestone on the company’s strategy, investing on dynamic markets where the company’s portfolio fits. The Mexican market combines these characteristics, particularly in the Fruits & Vegetables segment, precisely the crops where our portfolio fits best.”

Martins also notes “The team’s leadership, which is acknowledged for its high degree of professionalism and business knowhow,” which is a strong advantage of Ascenza in Mexico.
