Andy Lee Named CEO Of Sipcam Agro USA/ADVAN
The Board of Directors of agrochemical companies Sipcam Agro USA, Inc. and ADVAN, LLC announced the appointment of Andy D. Lee as Chief Executive Officer of ADVAN and Sipcam Agro USA today, according to a company release. Lee has extensive experience within the agrochemical industry, having held senior leadership roles with BASF Corp. and other chemical companies in the US and Europe.
Lee said, “I am delighted to be joining Sipcam and ADVAN. Growers and the channel need a reliable, trustworthy source of products and information to get the best out of every acre. Sipcam and ADVAN are uniquely positioned to meet these needs.”
Before becoming CEO of Sipcam and ADVAN, Lee was Director of the US Crop Protection Business for BASF. Earlier in his career, Lee held positions in global marketing for BASF and for American Home Products. Before his move to the US, Lee was based in Brussels with American Cyanamid, where he served as technical director and then commercial director for Europe. He has also held a variety of technical and commercial positions with Cyanamid U.K. and Shell Nickerson Seed Co.

Lee’s appointment allows Affaba to return to his position as a Member of the Board of Sipcam Agro USA. Affaba was acting CEO of the company.
