Arkema Soil Fumigant Gets US EUP

United Phosphorus will evaluate the fumigant as a standalone and in combination with chloropicrin on crops where plastic film is used for fumigation, such as aubergines, squash, cucumbers, melons, peppers, tomatoes, and strawberries. The performance of DMDS will be compared with methyl bromide, which is being phased out. United Phosphorus will provide product stewardship, storage, handling, and transportation training for farmers participating in the EUP program.
