Eurofins Agroscience Services Expands to The Philippines

Eurofins Agroscience Services Group announced that Marc Joseph Gulay is now part of the team in Asia, which will help allow the firm to broaden GLP residue trial services for tropical export crops.

Gulay, who obtained his BSc in Agriculture from the University of the Philippines, Los Baños in 2010, has worked in Regulatory Affairs, Product Development and Research & Development for local and multinational companies since graduating. He is accredited by the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) as a researcher for Fertilizer, Herbicide and Residue trials.

Gulay has been working with EAS Groups Head of Asia, Jean-Louis Allard, since January 2016 to establish the new team in The Philippines. Facility and staff expansion will occur over the coming months.

The team will be based in Los Baños and will commence operations in the coming wet season. The service offering will include profiling and local registration field trials for efficacy and residues. Furthermore, Gulay’s team will collaborate with other EAS field teams in Asia to offer an integrated platform for GLP residue trials. This will allow our clients to obtain quality and comprehensive residue data for critical export crops such as pineapple, bananas, mango and other tropical crops.

Gulay has already met many potential clients in April to present the new service. To arrange a meeting or for enquiries, please contact [email protected]
