Vietnam Allocates $55K For Ag Production

TAY NGUYEN, Vietnam — To improve agricultural production techniques and encourage compliance with Foreign Agriculture Organization of the United Nations’ Global Agriculture Practices (GAP) standards, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has allocated US$55,000 to the Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) province of Lam Dong, reports Vietnam News. The allocation will assist the province in setting up a modern agriculture program to produce coffee and vegetables under GAP standards, which include advanced cultivation, harvest, and post-harvest preservation techniques.
