Biotech Food Nearing OK In Oceania

The Monsanto product, called High-Lysine Corn LY038, will be usable in animal feed upon approval, and may be approved for human use. Several parties opposing the biotech maize have spoken out against it due the threats it may pose to human health. Representatives from Monsanto have stated that the maize is intended primarily for use in animal feed.
