Brazil Doubles Available Generic Products

The President’s Ministry, the Casa Civil, promised 15 registrations for generic products per month. However, AENDA, the Brazilian generic ag-chem association, is not satisfied with the rate of evaluation, which it considers still too slow to meet the country’s needs.

The seven registrations approved at the end of May were:

  • Bifenthrin (I), Milenia (Makhteshim-Agan).
  • Cymoxanil (F), Helm.
  • Cyproconazole (F), Syngenta.
  • Fomesafen (H), Syngenta.
  • Flutriafol (F), Sinon.
  • Picloram (H), Agripec (Nufarm).
  • Propiconazole (F), Nortox.
