Cargill Breaks Ground On Soybean-Based Chemicals Plant

The success of the soybean-based product required an expansion of production capabilities at a Cargill site in Brazil in September of last year. The new manufacturing plant in Chicago – expected to begin operations November 2008 — will increase supply of BiOH polyols as a viable raw material option for Cargill’s growing customer base in North America and Europe.
