China Green Breaks Ground On New Facility
19 May 2008 Organic fertilizer producer China Green Agriculture Inc. broke ground on its new production facility next to its current facilities, reports www.EarthTimes.org.
The producer and distributor of organic humic acid-based liquid compound fertilizers, through its wholly owned subsidiary Shaanxi TechTeam Jinong Humic Acid Product Co., Ltd., today commenced construction of the new 40,000 ton production line.
The company has a strategic expansion plan in place in which will increase production capacity from 10,000 tons per year to 50,000 tons per year. The company says that its expansion will be highly automated and computerized, allowing it to maintain a high degree of quality control and stable production costs.
Tao Li, CEO of China Green Agriculture, said, “as we are currently operating at almost full capacity on our current 10,000 ton production line, this added production bandwidth will allow us to handle current customer demand and continue growing into the future. Given China Green Agriculture’s role as an industry leader in R&D, we are eager to translate our core competency in fertilizer development into the product volumes desired by our customers.”
