China: Soybean Industry Development

According to the US Dept. of Agriculture’s Foreign Agriculture Service (USDA-FAS), the purpose of these guidelines is the development of a sustainable, healthy, and stable soybean industry.

Regarding the relatively high share of foreign investment in the sector, an NDRC official added that China should lead the soybean industry development because it is a critical part of national economy and closely related to the people’s daily consumption.
