Doha Vital To African Farmers

Terry Townsend, executive director of ICAC, described the Doha Round to end subsidies as the "biggest single issue in cotton markets today." ICAC has stated that an elimination of subsidies for cotton could lead to an increase in the international prices of cotton by as much as 10%.
