Dow Launches ‘High-Load’ Glyphosate In US
23 July 2007 The two herbicide products both use a proprietary dimethylamine (DMA) salt, and each contains 5.4 pounds/gallon (630 g/litre) of glyphosate DMA. The products are recommended for use at 12-48 oz/acre (0.8-3.3 kg/ha) on over 200 crops in the US, including genetically modified (GM) Roundup Ready crops.
According to Dow, the DMA salt used gives the products benefits during product handling and tank mixing.
