Dow Launches Two US Herbicides

CleanWave, a premix of fluroxypur and new active ingredient aminopyralid, controls more than 30 broadleaf weeds and suppresses another 15 weeds. It also can be tank-mixed with “economical rates” of 2,4-D or MCPA for broadspectrum broad-leaf control, and can be tank-mixed with all leading grass herbicides for one-pass weed and grass control, according to Dow.

Starane NXTcp herbicide (fluoroxypur + bromoxynil) provides broadleaf weed control without rotational restrictions and could be available for the 2007 season.
