Dow Leadership Changes
Doug Vail, a 25-year Dow veteran, who has worked as US marketing director since 2002, has accepted the position of corporate strategy leader responsible for leading the development and deployment of the company’s strategy with the Strategy Steering Team.
Monty Bayer, the company’s regional commercial unit (RCU) leader for Japan and Korea since 2003, will replace Vail as US marketing director and will manage the marketing specialists for the US Crops, Specialty, and Turf & Ornamental businesses. He has been with Dow for 16 years.
Replacing Bayer as RCU leader for Japan and Korea will be Phil Feil, former sales leader for the Northern Crops business.
Bayer’s position as sales leader for the Northern Crops business will be filled by Kim Bohlander, who has spent the past eight years working in the Pacific region, most recently as the RCU leader for Southeast Asia.
