Phoong Tang, business manager for biotech grain for Monsanto, hailed the decision, saying, “This approval is expected to to open doors into European markets that had previously not accepted YieldGard Rootworm and should therefore increase the number of places where growers can sell their dingle-trait YieldGard Rootworm grain.”

Monsanto still awaits a decision to be made regarding stacked YieldGard trait seed.
