Makhteshim Agan Benelux & Nordic Expands, Establishes Lithuania Subsidiary

Makhteshim-Agan Group (MAI) and its 55%-owned subsidiary Makhteshim-Agan Benelux & Nordic B.V. (MABENO B.V.) created a new sales subsidiary in Vilnius, Lithuania, called UAB Makhteshim-Agan Benelux and Nordic (UAB MABENO).
Han Rupert, CEO of MABENO B.V. said, “Our enlarged team will allow MABENO to better serve our customers and gain market share. We are excited about the combination of this group of professionals with strong knowledge of the local market with MABENO’s portfolio of solutions.”
Erika Povilionienė was named as CEO of UAB MABENO, Vaidotas Donyla as business support manager Baltics and Ilze Priekule as technical/development manager Baltics.
“We foresee significant opportunities in the Baltic crop protection market and are excited to position ourselves as a leading player which will enable us to advance our growth in the market,” Povilionienė said. “The establishment of this new sales company and our professional team gives us strengthened capabilities and opportunities going forward.”
Povilionienė graduated as MSc at the Agricultural University in Kaunas, Lithuania, has 15 years practical experience in the crop protection market including positions in agricultural distribution, as well as, in the crop protection industry.
