Isagro, RiceCo Partner For New Rice Herbicide
24 January 2007 According to Dr. Dennis Krass, president of Isagro USA, the alliance formed with RiceCo will help strengthen the launch of the first US rice herbicide offered by Isagro.
“We entered into this agreement with RiceCo because it offers the superior product support team needed for our new rice herbicide to be successfully introduced to U.S. producers,” Krass said.
Isagro USA is in the final registration process for orthosulfamuron, which will be trade named as STRADA herbicide in the US. This postemergence herbicide provides control of broadleaf, sedge, and aquatic weeds in dry- and water-seeded rice. Isagro expects STRADA herbicide to have full registration by early 2007.
