Isagro USA Launches Rice Herbicide
26 February 2007 New Strada WG herbicide for foliar applications is available for the 2007 season to rice growers in the Mid-South, and Strada GR, a granular formulation for applications into the flood, will be available for the 2008 season.
Isagro notes that Strada herbicide “adds significant value to typical weed control programs in rice, helping to complete the spectrum of activity in programs using Command, Facet, and SuperWHAM!” Strada also is well suited for use in a Clearfield rice program using Newpath.
Mark Quick, national sales and marketing manager for Isagro USA, adds that Memphis-based RiceCo LLC will provide product support for Strada WG herbicide in 2007. RiceCo specializes in providing growers with technology, crop protection products and services related to rice farming worldwide.
