In Brazil, MOL has obtained a registration for acephate. "Brazil is a big breakthrough for us because this market, which is already big, will grow even faster due to its increased focus on bio-fuels," said Mr Ashish Sop, managing director of MOL, which is registered as a source with the largest distributor in Brazil.

In Pakistan, MOL becomes one of the earliest registrants since the Pakistan government opened the doors for Indian pesticides suppliers. MOL has received registrations for two of its synthetic pyrethroid molecules in the country.
