Mycogen Receives Two Japanese Approvals

Several hybrid versions of the two popular seed brands will be offered for the 2006 growing season. All of the Herculex RW and Herculex XTRA hybrids have LibertyLink technology, which makes them tolerant to over-the-top applications of Liberty herbicide. They also include Cruiser Extreme Pak, a seed-applied insecticide that protects germinating seed from damage due to wireworms, seedcorn maggots, and other secondary pests, as well as Maxim XL, Apron XL, and Dynasty seed treatment fungicides to control a wide disease spectrum.

EU import approval for the varieties still is pending.
