Out With El Niño, In With La Niña

El Niño — the cause of precipitation and warm air across parts of North America earlier this winter — has headed out; however, its opposite weather phenomenon, La Niña, is coming in. Extreme, volatile weather conditions are expected to arrive in many livestock and crop producing areas later this spring and summer.
