Pakistan Approves Indian Bt Cotton Seed Import

Each Bt cotton variety will be tested in different Pakistani cotton growing areas during the current season. These field trials will be monitored and run by NBC.

Pakistan’s Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and Monsanto recently signed a letter of intent to expand cotton production in Pakistan by introducing Monsanto-derived insect protection technology.
