Peasants Occupy Two Brazilian Plants

According to The Guardian, hundreds of activists broke into a Syngenta ag-chem plant in Sao Paulo, expelled 50 employees, and shut down the plant.

Members of the Landless Rural Workers’ Movement, or MST, and the allied group Via Campesina also destroyed genetically-modified corn and soy seedlings at a Syngenta farm in the northeastern state of Ceara. It is the second time in a little over two months that the group had engaged in terrorist-type violence against Syngenta.
