Peru Nears GM Ruling

Peru has a strong poultry and livestock industry which would benefit from the use of GM maize and soybean meal. Peruvian agricultural exports, such as papaya and mangos, could benefit of biotechnology, and crops for local consumption such as maize, potatoes, and cotton also would benefit from biotechnology.
