Prof. Peter Mills Added To BCPE Board

British Crop Protection Enterprises (BCPE) announced that Professor Peter Mills of the University of Warwick has been appointed to the BCPE Board.

A plant pathologist and academic researcher who has held several important positions, Mills is currently working to identify projects that will help growers adapt to climate change. His ‘Innovation Network’ scheme focuses on projects like geo-thermal heat exchange and improving water management for irrigation.

“Professor Mills has a distinguished and relevant background,” said Dr. Colin Ruscoe, BCPE chairman and Exhibitions director. “His applied biology and management experience will clearly enable him to contribute significantly to BCPC’s expanding range of crop production and protection publications and events.”
