RiceCo Adds Plitt As Director

US-based RiceCo, LLC has announced that Matt Plitt has joined the company as its new Director of Business Operations, RiceCo said in a release. Plitt will take on responsibility of the company’s US business while working with CEO and President Jim Hines on building the company’s international presence.

Plitt comes to RiceCo with 10 years of experience in the US rice industry, serving as sales and marketing management roles with American Cyanamid and BASF. Most recently, Plitt worked as marketing director for Agriliance in the Coastal Division.

RiceCo said that Plitt’s experience in seed, traits, and chemistry as both a manufacturer and a customer will be a valuable asset as RiceCo continues to grow in stature as a global rice enterprise.
