The company presentation on Helena, its background, and its US and global experience was explained by Adams. Underwood detailed the proprietary range of Helena products and how they can be valuable assets to South Asian growers. He explained the adjuvants that Helena markets and the myriad of features, advantages, and benefits afforded when growers properly use adjuvants with crop inputs.  He also spoke on Helena’s range of value-added agrochemicals and the possibility of introducing advanced formulations of generic or branded active ingredients for the South Asian market.

Underwood then went on to explain Helena’s range of bio-stimulant and nutritional products, which are proven successes on the six largest global crops. He further highlighted the importance of identifying limiting factors in crop production and of selecting the products, application methods, and equipment to help farmers in South Asia maximize the value of their operations.

Live demonstrations were then conducted, and participants were amazed by the ability of adjuvants to quickly wet, spread, stick, penetrate, and translocate on the plant surfaces. The most obvious visual effect was the influence of selected adjuvants in increasing the coverage of foliage by the same or lesser volumes of spray water.

Overall, the participants agreed it was a fruitful exchange of ideas and dicussions that were of mutual benefit. The theme, “Innovative Products for Greater Value,” was evident thoughout the conference, and participants were excited about the benefit of their coustmers.
