Syngenta, China Team On GM Research
A Syngenta release stated that the five-year project with the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology in Beijing would lead to “novel agronomic traits including drought tolerance” for corn, soybeans, wheat, sugarbeets, and sugarcane.
“The collaboration with Syngenta gives our Institute access to global agriculture markets through integration of new traits in the Syngenta seeds portfolio,” said Yongbiao Xue, director at the institute.
