Syngenta Expands In China
The 1,600 square meter technology center is designed to provide technical support additional local production and global sourcing. It includes four advanced laboratories for analysis and process development.
The plant, which will be erected on the same site, will respond to the growing demand for Syngenta’s insecticides, and is expected to be operational by the middle of 2007.
John Atkin, chief operating officer of Syngenta, said in a press release that "These latest two projects at our Nantong site will significantly expand our capability to manufacture cost-competitive products that meet the highest standards." He added, "They will further strengthen our position in the growing Asian market."
