Syngenta: Top Management Changes To Come

At the end of 2008, Syngenta’s Regional Head Crop Protection Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME), Maercio Rezende, will retire. During his 23-year career with Syngenta, he made significant contributions through building market leading businesses in EAME and Latin America, says the company.

He will be succeeded by Jon Parr, Global Head of Flowers. Parr, the former Head of Marketing and Strategy for Europe, Crop Protection, will take Rezende’s place starting in January 2009.

Jeff Cox, Head of the NAFTA Corn & Soybeans business, will lead a newly established Lawn & Garden business that combines the current Professional Products and Flowers businesses, from October 1, 2008.

Also as of October 1, David Morgan, Regional Head Asia-Pacific (APAC) Seeds, is appointed Head of NAFTA Corn & Soybeans.
