U.S.: Farm Bill Delayed

The recent vote to put limits on farm bill changes fell five votes short of being passed, and with it went most hopes of having a bill approved this year.

Dr. Gary Adams, vice-president of economics and policy analysis for the NCC, said he is doubtful the Senate will approve a farm bill before the end of 2007.
