US Pledges US $130 Million To Indian Farms

"By working together, the United States and India will develop better ways to grow crops and get them to market and lead a second green revolution," Bush said. "This initiative will invest 100 million dollars to encourage exchanges between American and Indian scientists and to promote joint research to improve farming technology."

The two countries have formed a "knowledge initiative on agriculture," linking universities, technical institutions, and businesses to support joint agriculture, education, and research projects.
