Under current global financial crisis, the entire agrochemical business is also impacted.
How are you changing your operations to better serve your clients in these tough times?
As a global agrochemical enterprise, we aspire to provide a series of highly effective and environmentally friendly products for growers all over the world. Since our business is global, we optimize the compounding of our products and put forward new ideas for service in light of the different situations in different countries. We try our best to give growers a sense that Wangs is striving with them together as their friend.
What is your most innovative product, service or research initiative?
As a group who has a very strong R&D team, we have products in all agrochemical categories, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, miticides, rodenticides, plant growth regulators, and plant nutrition products. In addition, we are the only producer of technical and various ready-to-sell formulations of fenoxycarb in China. We hope we can cooperate with other enterprises in the agrochemical industry on products, technology research, and service.
How optimistic are you about the economic health of the agrochemical industry for 2009?
So far, it seems the macroeconomic environment in 2009 is still not optimistic, and it will impact the agrochemical field; however, the agriculture business is a special field with strategic significance, and we still believe our breadth of classic products, quality service, and flexible strategy with help us break through difficult market conditions.
