World Ag Expo 2008: It’s All Here
With 1,600 exhibitors and over 100,000 attendees from more than 67 countries visiting the show each year, the World Ag Expo is a major gathering place for those in the business of agriculture to make connections, share ideas, and find out what’s new, what’s improved, and how they can boost their sales in the year to come.
There’s something for everyone at the annual World Ag Expo, to be held Feb. 12-14 in Tulare, CA, USA. At this, the world’s largest agricultural exposition, ag people from around the world come to drive sales and increase their companies’ visibility; however, the Expo also provides educational opportunities, including daily seminars in areas such as biofuels, US Free Trade Agreements, China’s Food Quality, Competition, irrigation technology, and California agriculture. The Top Ten New Products — the most innovative new products and services — are showcased, along with special programs for World Ag Women. Farm tours to enterprises in and around the agriculturally rich San Joaquin Valley include citrus tours, agribusiness, and alternative energy, while ticket-only private events are held daily in the VIP Event Center.
Visitors also can meet with commercial specialists to discuss their international business; the US Commercial Service, the International Agri-Center, and the Centers for International Trade Development will all be present and able to offer companies the best information and assistance for breaking into global markets.
