Zambia Asked For Changes To Fertilizer Program

Mambo has challenged the government to position Zambia as the world’s leading sustainable agriculture producer – which, he says, can only be achieved through government and the public private sector cooperation. Mambo has also called upon the government to implement the irrigation fund facility, launched last year by late President Levy Mwanawasa.

Mambo noted that implementing the irrigation fund facility would enable farmers to avoid depending on seasonal rains to grow their food and encourage them to grow winter foods.
