Eurofins, Biome Makers Form International Alliance to Promote Soil Health in Europe

Eurofins Agroscience Services (EAS Group) and U.S. based Biome Makers have announced an alliance to distribute BeCrop, Biome Makers’ unique soil functional analysis technology. This will provide a new standard of soil biodiversity analysis in Europe for farmers, agronomists, and the wider agricultural industry.

BeCrop combines DNA Sequencing and intelligent computing for functional soil analysis offering crop specific data-driven insights on what soil really needs to be healthy, and optimal for any crop. The applications of functional soil analysis are many, from taking action to improve yields or lower disease risk, to testing the effect of agro input products and monitoring farm practices.
