DuPont Registers Dermacor X-100 Rice Seed Treatment

WILMINGTON, Delaware, US — DuPont Crop Protection has received federal registration from the US Environmental Protection Agency to use Dermacor X-100 seed treatment on rice seed, reports Southwest Farm Press. Since receiving a Section 18 Emergency Exemption in 2008, Dermacor X-100 has been used in the US to control rice water weevil larvae. The treatment also protects against stalk borers.
