Excel Crop Care Expands

The main biopesticides included in the deal are:

  • Verticel (Verticillium lecanii) bio-insecticide;
  • Tricho (Trichoderma viride + Paecilomyces lilanicus) for the control of nematodes and soil-borne diseases;
  • Sudocel (Pseudomonas fluorescens) bio-fungicide.

The products can be used on a wide array of crops.

Excel Crop Care spun off of Excel Industries in 2003. This move brings part of Excel Industries’ products back into the fold, and is the second expansion in recent years. In 2005, Excel Crop Care acquired a 24.9% in Aimco Pesticides.
