The move allows Dow AgroSciences to focus resources on priority solutions in its agricultural chemical portfolio, especially new molecules in the launch phase, as well as its growing biotechnology portfolio, according to the company.

“The acquisition of M-Pede and Scythe will enhance Gowan Company’s continued efforts to provide IPM solutions to growers around the world,” said Sergio Comparini, Gowan Company Business Development Manager in a press release. “The addition of these two products combined with Gowan’s Aza-Direct brand solidifies our commitment to building a strong Green platform.”

Gowan and its subsidiaries will start selling M-Pede and Scythe in November.
