Agrium, Potash Corp. in Merger Talks

Agrium Inc. and Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc., are in merger talks according to a report from Bloomberg Markets. Although neither company commented on the potential merger, insiders told Bloomberg Markets a deal could be announced as early as next week.

Potash has a market capitalization of about $14.6 billion while Agrium is valued at about $13.2 billion.
