Chemtura Opens ADC In Nanjing

NANJING, China — Chemtura Corp., which had 2009 sales of $2.5 billion, has opened a new Application Development Center (ADC) in the Nanjing Economic & Technological Development Zone, reports Business Wire. The ADC, with its state-of-the-art laboratories, will serve as Chemtura’s technical center of excellence for its businesses in the Asia/Pacific region.

Charles Guo will be director of the ADC. He stated that the ADC would undertake such external initiatives as development of new formulations for local customer needs, training of local distributors and key customers and technical support, as well as provide internal employee training, promotional activities and regulatory requirements and quality control on locally sourced material.

Chemtura is currently recruiting staff for its recently-expanded regional headquarters in Shanghai, the ADC in Nanjing, and its other businesses in the region.
