China To Reduce Ag Tariffs by 20-30%

According to a senior trade official, says the China Securities Journal, China will cut tariffs on both agricultural and non-agricultural products by 20 to 30%. No time frame or other details were provided. Tariffs on agricultural products average 15.2%, down from 54% before China joined the WTO in 2001, the paper said.
