Brazilian CRO Phytus Group Joins Staphyt

Staphyt continues its development in Agricultural Research Services in Brazil and has finalized, on September 12, 2022, the acquisition of Phytus Group, the largest CRO in Brazil.

Phytus Group was founded more than 20 years ago by the professor Dr. Ricardo Balardin who became one of the most knowledgeable and respectable plant pathologists in Brazil. Phytus initiated its operations with a research station in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul and later expanded its operations to another research station in Formosa, Goias. Phytus is accredited by MAPA (IN36, IN42, IN53) and Inmetro (BPL) which allows us to offer a large array of services. Together with Promip Serviços, acquired in June 2022, Staphyt offers high quality and specialized services in R&D in different regions of Brazil.
