Cotton Australia Asks Merchants To Forgive Cotton Farmers’ Debt

Cotton Australia is asking merchants who purchased cotton ahead of time to grant leniency to farmers who saw their cotton crop devastated months before harvest, according to ABC New England.

The Queensland and northern New South Wales regions have been ravaged by floods in recent weeks. Farmers are debating whether or not they should try to salvage the crop, which is almost completely destroyed.
