In an agreement with Valent Canada, Nufarm Agriculture will become a distributor for Valent’s agricultural, horticultural, industrial vegetative management (IVM) and biorational product lines in Canada.

• Presidio Fungicide

This development deepens the Valent-Nufarm partnership, which started in 2011 with Nufarm selling the well-known Valtera to Canadian growers looking for a solution to tough weeds.

“Valent and Nufarm embarked on a successful sales alliance with Valtera last year. The success of that relationship has resulted in the expansion of our strategic alliance,” said Todd Younghans, country manager for Valent Canada in a statement.

Engage Agro will continue to sell Velocity Herbicide. Plant Products will continue to sell Sumagic and Distance Plant Growth Regulators.

I used to buy a herbicide called triplet from a local farmers co-op. The co-op went out of business so I am trying to find a place that handles triplet or something similar. The container has Nufarm as the company that made the product. Could you help me with a product that can be used on a lawn for most weeds including clover. I am located in Danville indiana west of Indianapolis.
thank you,
Jay Simpson

There are several good products. Speed Zone (from PBI Gordon) is popular for lawn weed control over here in western Washington. Sprays tend to bead up and fall off clover leaves, so you need to add a surfactant to help wet the leaves.

Dear Nufarm Agriculture, It's good to know you and we are happy that your business is growing better and better. We want to set up an agrochemical distribution company in VN. As you know, Vietnam's agrochemical market size is really big: 600 million USD/year. The market is growing at 20%/year. Although Syngenta, Bayer, Basf,Dupont, Arysta lifescience… and other generic players from China has been operating here, but we believe that the market still has a lot of potential to be explored and penetrated. We understand the market well, we have the experiences, we understand competitors, we know the farmers…. That's why We want to open a distribution company in VN. The way we do things is We will import your products into Vietnam or like other international companies, You can set up your own representative office in VN so You can manage your business better and cooperate better with your partner. If You are interested in this, I suggest we meet each other in Vietnam so we can discuss further. I will present the business plan which is feasible and present the way to win the market share and profit. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks & Best Regards, Binh Nguyen Thai
